NOAA Hoarding Key Data On Oil Spill Damage

Fast track the data. It is not difficult to see why the data must be vetted before it can made public. For example, it is not right to expose earnest investigators to unnecessary embarassment, if an avoidable error is found in the data. On the other hand, this is an environemental emergency, and there are standard procedures for the rapid release of scientific data. The exigency of the situation provides an obvious example of data that should see rapid release. Please fast track this data NOW.
