Hey - I don't know if you've heard, but the Senate is in the final stages of discussing the climate bill, and there is pressure to cut out key provisions that would make sure poor communities have the resources to fight the effects of climate change.
We can't let them cut poor people out of the bill. Poor communities are hit first and worst by climate change. Leaving these provisions out of the bill will leave billions of people at risk from worsening storms, droughts, and floods and that means more poverty, more hunger, and more war.
