It is delightful to see this issue getting the attention that it deserves. Unlike the Exxon Valdez spill, this incident occurred near population centers, and sullied beaches that are frequented by real persons, not fictitious ones like BP. It is time for BP to take FULL responsibi­lity for what they have done in the Gulf of Mexico. It is time for them to compensate ALL the victims, and stop the intolerabl­e evasion of their responsibi­lities.
