Arizona's Forests Need Your Help

Arizona's forests and wildlife need your help. Four of the state's national forests are rewriting the "forest plans" that will govern their management for a decade or more.

But where the new plans should enhance wildlife protections and provide for forests' restoration, the Forest Service's early drafts would roll back key wildlife protections and open the door to harmful land uses.

As climate change magnifies the impacts of already harmful uses, allowing more of those activities in more places is exactly what Arizona's forests don't need.

Take action for the Kaibab, Apache-Sitgreaves, Prescott, and Coronado National Forests today: Tell the Forest Service to enhance, rather than weaken, wildlife safeguards in the four draft plans now open for comment.
