Tell the Super Committee to end the big oil bailout

Every year Congress hands out billions in subsidies to the fossil fuel industry -- money that wealthy oil, gas and coal companies don't need. Those billions could be used instead to pay for important domestic programs at a time when Congress is grappling with ways to reduce the deficit.

With our country facing massive cuts to education and health care programs, we can't afford to waste tens of billions of dollars in giveaways to the oil, coal and gas industries. Eliminating these handouts could reduce our national debt by $121 billion over the next decade.
